2A1 : Not necessarily. However, it is going to be more comfortable for you to print out the house contract that we send in both Korean and English formats.
1Q2 : What awaits me after arrival?
2A2 : Once you arrive, you must let us know through the chat and call either of the chat members, if there is no response. The governmental workers at the airport will call our company (the landlord) to verify your identity and self-quarantine information. Therefore, when you are filling out the documents at the airport that are related to self-quarantine, you must write down the following phone number as your contact information: 010-2230-8133 (Lee Jung Hyun) or 010-7933-1752 (Mirzaev A.) as a backup number. Overall, there is quite a long procedure upon completion of which you need to find out whether you are at Terminal 1 or 2. Case a) You are at Terminal 1, you need to find exit 10; case b) you are at Terminal 2, you need to find the bread shop, “Paris Baguette”. Once you find that place, text us and the driver will come to pick you up with your name written on their phone.

1You must not take the wrong taxi, because your taxi payment will have been made to the specific taxi driver that we assigned exclusively for you.
2Make sure your phone battery has a sufficient charge and bring a power bank with you! We need to be able to keep in contact with you at any time when you are at the airport.

1Q3 : How do I check-in?
2A3 : The driver will help you to safely check-in. Please text us, once you are in the apartment.
1Q4 : What should I know about the PCR tests?
2A4 : The 1st PCR test is taken usually within 24 hours after you enter the country. We will provide more precise information about the other PCR test/s after you are inside the accommodation. It is impossible to give clear-cut guidance beforehand as there are too many variables.
*Please do not enquire quarantine taxi`s exact arrival time for the PCR tests, (there are reasons for that). On the test day, you shall be ready to go out from 9 am till 3 pm.
1Q5 : How do I use the self-quarantine application?
2A5 : In the airport, the government officials will install a special app for self-quarantine control. There you shall leave a report of your health condition twice a day: before and afternoon, preferably at 10 am and 3 pm. If you skip the check several times, the government official is obliged to visit you according to the protocol, so please be consistent. There will be a thermometer for you in the room left by us and you will receive another one from the government. Please use the first one and leave the government-provided thermometer intact for the next guest. The program is very sensitive, so please do not a) Let the battery go below 15% b) Turn off the Wi-Fi connection c) Turn off the GPS function d) Exit the app completely; you should keep it running in the background all the time.
1Q6 : How shall I deal with the waste?
2A6 : A little bit of consideration and effort is required from you when collecting and storing the waste. That is because of quarantine guidelines that prohibit throwing away the trash during the quarantine period. That is why you must store the waste for 14 nights. Here is the way to do that Food waste: you will have up to 5 small bags specifically for the food waste. You shall remove the excess water on the waste to make it more compact. Then, you can insert the waste into the bag and store it in the upper section of the fridge, hence freezing it and preventing any bad odor from spreading. Recyclable waste: This includes plastic and glass bottles, plastic lunch boxes, etc. You will have one 100-liter bag without any signs on them for that. Before inserting the waste into the bag, make sure there is no water inside and the bottles are compressed. Card boxes: You can store them separately without any bags. General waste: You will have another 100-liter bag without any signs for general waste.
1Q7 : How shall I deal with the waste?
2A7 : *You must open the door wearing a mask if a government official or any other person visits you. *You must not exit your apartment when it is not allowed by a government official assigned to you or us. *Do not try to escape leaving your phone inside the room.
1Q8 : Can I extend my stay during the quarantine?
2A8 : Usually, we allow an extension, but you shall consult with us just in case.
1Q9 : How do I finish my quarantine?
2A9 : Room cleaning: The best condition that we can wish for is the condition that you entered the room. If it is not much of a problem, please leave the room as tidy as possible. We will appreciate that.
Checkout: The checkout time is noon (12 o`clock sharp). You should be fully prepared by then and let us know before going out. Then we will call the taxi. Do not wait for the driver to knock at the door.
Waste disposal: You will have received from the government several orange bags with the hazard sign on them. Please, insert your general and food waste bags into the orange bag on the last day.
Quarantine application: Once you exit the facility, you may delete the app without any consequences.
1Q10 : For Russians * The embassy is requiring a self-quarantine house contract before my visa issuance. What shall I do?
2A10 : As far as we know, the Russian embassy requires a house contract before students get their visas, which makes it hard to select a precise arrival date. Knowing that we issue the invoice and receive the payment from you first. Then we send you the house contracts deciding the approximate time after discussing it with you. If you get a visa, we revise the house contract and decide the arrival time once again, but this time precisely. If you fail to get your visa, we provide a full refund if you let us know at least 120 hours before the check-in date.
